Helps add accessible, affordable housing in our community
Melwood, a nonprofit that provides jobs, employment training services, and community support for adults got the preliminary zoning approval needed to build ~100 units of Committed Affordable Housing, with about 30% set aside for residents with disabilities.
In February 2025, the Melwood project will complete the final public hearings before hopeful approval by the County Board.
Planning Commission Hearing - Mon., Feb. 10 or Wed., Feb 12 (7pm meeting)
Arlington County Board Meeting - Saturday, Feb. 22, time TBD
