Unfortunately, a judge overturned Arlington's missing middle policy. This policy would have allowed property owners in Arlington to build small and medium sized multi-family units (duplexes, triplexes, town houses, row houses, etc) on their property.

The Arlington county board voted unanimously to task a lawyer with appealing the ruling which overturned the county's missing middle policy.

The Arlington county Bicycle Advisory Committee met to discuss priorities for the county's transportation master plan.

The county board voted 4-0, with one abstention, to approve the Melwood redevelopment project. This approved the development of a five-story building, with 105 affordable units, as well as 17,000 square feet of space to serve individuals with disabilities.

In a 4-0 vote, with one abstention, the county board approved a development plan to replace two hotels in the Green Valley neighborhood with 494 rental units.
