The Arlington County Board meeting is on Saturday, February 22.
We don't know the precise time, but we will let you know after the agenda is released (Feb 14 or 15). You can speak virtually or in person. We are planning to have a gathering before the agenda item starts.
Melwood, a longstanding nonprofit in Arlington that provides jobs, employment training services, and community support for adults with disabilities, owns a building on 23rd Street near Crystal City. They have applied to redevelop the building to add 105 units of Committed Affordable Housing, in a building that will feature accessibility. Their training operations will remain in the new building. Melwood has previously said units will be set aside for people with disabilities. There will be no change to the adjacent Nelly Custis Park.
